Halesowen kickboxing king Simon Akufo has said that he is determined to win a world title.Akufo will face Russian Denis Lukashov on June 11 for the WKA welterweight in Birmingham, though the exact venue is yet to be confirmed.

Lukashov is one of the biggest names in the sport having fought in 129 bouts, while Akufo has an even greater incentive to win after seeing friend and training partner Richard Waller lose inside two rounds to the Russian in Moscow two years ago.
